Zeekr 7X electric SUV: over 30,000 deliveries in 75 days since launch

Zeekr said today that deliveries of its new Zeekr 7X electric SUV surpassed 30,000 units 75 days after the model hit the market. Zeekr 7X actually is offered in three variants with starting prices of 229.900 yuan  

Zeekr officially said today that deliveries of its new Zeekr 7X electric Sport Utility Vehicle surpassed 30,000 units 75 days after the model hit the market. Zeekr 7X was launched on September 20 at Chengdu Auto Show, with deliveries beginning on September 21. On November 11, deliveries of the Zeekr 7X surpassed 20,000 units after 50 days on the market and this model has quickly become Zeekr’s main selling model after its launch. The model is available in China in three variants with starting prices of 229.000 yuan ($ 31,650), 249.900 yuan ($ 34,400) and 269.900 yuan ($ 37,155), respectively. 

The Zeekr 7X is a mid-size five-seat SUV with dimensions of 4825/1930/1656 mm and a wheelbase of 2925 mm. Its minimalistic interior styling includes a 15-inch main screen and a 13-inch instrument cluster. The car also has a 765-liter capacity. The Zeekr 7X has two powertrain variants. The entry-level car has a single electric motor in the rear axle for 310 kW (416 hp). The 4WD variant has two e-motors for 475 kW (637 hp). There are two battery options for the Zeekr 7X: an LFP pack for 75 kWh and a ternary NMC battery for 100 kWh. They are suitable for a 605 – 780 km of CLTC range. 

The company is currently selling the Zeekr 001, Zeekr 007, Zeekr 009, Zeekr X, Zeekr 7X and Zeekr Mix. The Zeekr 001 shooting brake, Zeekr 009 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), Zeekr X city SUV, and Zeekr Mix five-seater are all aimed at niche markets, while the Zeekr 007 sedan and Zeekr 7X are aimed at the mainstream EV market. Zeekr is a Chinese high-end NEV brand launched by Geely in 2021. Zeekr is targeting to deliver 230,000 vehicles for the full year 2024. The company delivered 27,011 vehicles in November, the third consecutive month of record highs: this is up 106.13 percent from 13,104 units in the same period last year and up 7.83 percent from 25,049 in October. In the January-November period, Zeekr delivered 194,933 vehicles, an increase of 85.28 percent year-on-year.
