Xpeng today officially launched its extended-range X9 MPV, aiming to   capture market share   in the   hybrid MPV segment.   The model comes in  two variants   - the   1602 Max   and   1602 Ultra   - with starting prices of yuan 309,800 ($43,350) and 329,800 yuan ($46,200) respectively  The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker today officially launched its extended-range  seven-seater  X9 MPV, aiming to capture market share in the hybrid MPV segment with competitive pricing.  The  final starting price  for the X9 extended-range electric vehicle is  309,800 yuan ($43,550),  representing a reduction of 40,200 yuan, or 11.49 percent, from the 350,000 yuan ($49,300) starting price announced during its pre-sales earlier this month. The Chinese electric vehicle maker announced today that its first extended range model, a 7-seater large-sized MPV, combines a 63.3-kWh battery pack with a 60-liter fuel tank to deliver a 1,602-kilometer range   Xpeng has revealed more details about its extended-range X9 MPV as its debut approaches. The seven-seat MPV serves as Xpeng's global flagship model and its first super extended-range product, the company said. The new X9 EREV is powered by a 1.5T range extender with a maximum output of 110 kW and combines a 63.3-kWh battery pack with a 60-liter fuel tank.
