The electric sedan from Huawei and JAC outsold the Porsche Panamera, the BMW 7 Series, and the Maybach S-Class combined in China last month and became the most popular luxury sedan priced above 700,000 yuan ($100,000)  The Maextro S800, a sedan under the brand jointly created by Huawei and Jianghuai Automobile (JAC) , topped the sales chart in December with 4,376 units sold (including 234 pure-electric versions). This figure is approximately 4 times the sales of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class during the same period and also exceeds the combined sales (4,130 units) of the Porsche Panamera (1,593 units), BMW 7 Series (1,429 units), and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (1,118 units).  It is worth noting that other Chinese high-end sedans were far from first place in terms of domestic sales.
