On the evening of May 21, during the Xiaomi “Human x Car x Home” event, Xiaomi officially unveiled its YU7 GT, marking the smartphone maker's foray into a more premium automotive segment.  The YU7 GT is equipped with Xiaomi's next-generation HyperEngine V8s EVO. Its dual-motor system delivers a combined maximum output of 738 kilowatts , equivalent to 990 horsepower (1003 Ps-1003,4 Cv).  This motor achieves a maximum speed of 28,000 rpm and utilises a self-developed silicon carbide (SiC) power module, increasing power by 5.9%. With ultra-thin 0.15 mm stator and rotor silicon steel sheets, the motor boasts an efficiency of 98.38%.  The YU7 GT can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.92 seconds .
