Xiaomi YU7’s performance variant, the YU7 GT, has officially appeared in China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) declaration filings today. Positioned as a high-performance version of the YU7, the model boasts a wide-body sports kit and a dual-motor powertrain delivering over 1,000 Cv.

Visually, the front fascia features a newly designed bumper, complemented by wider front fenders that give the car a more muscular stance. Performance cues include a large rear diffuser and a prominent red “GT” badge adorning the tail. Further details reveal red brake calipers, hinting at the potential inclusion of carbon-ceramic brake discs. The vehicle will ride on 21-inch wheels.

The high-performance model YU7 GT measures 5015 mm in length, 2007 mm in width, and 1597 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. This makes it larger than the regular YU7, which measures 4,999 mm long, 1,996 mm wide, and 1,600 mm tall, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Its curb weight is 2,460 kg, and it supports a top speed of 300 km/h.

The MIIT filings also indicate a range of optional features, allowing for personalization. These include decorative elements for the front combination lamps, rearview mirrors, rear spoiler, ducktail spoiler, front hood trim, front badge, various wheel designs, caliper colors, and body decals.

The model is equipped with a ternary lithium battery manufactured by CATL. Under the hood, the YU7 GT features a pure electric dual-motor setup. The front motor provides 288 kW, while the rear motor contributes 450 kW, culminating in a staggering total system output of 738 kW (1.003,4 Cv) surpassing the 508 kW (691 Cv) of the YU7's most powerful variant YU Max. Market speculation suggests the YU7 GT could be priced in the range of 450,000 to 500,000 yuan ($60,000 to 70,000).
