Al Salone dell’auto di Shanghai il numero uno della Casa tedesca, e del gruppo Volkswagen, ha riconosciuto le difficoltà in Cina. “Le vendite dei nostri modelli elettrici in questo Paese sono relativamente basse ” ha affermato “Xiaomi e Yangwang sono EV interessanti, ma non sono nostri competitor: non offrono la capacità di guida di una Porsche ” ha precisato  Tempi duri per la Porsche in Cina . The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer showcased its latest humanoid robot “Iron” at Auto Shanghai 2025. Iron is already operational on its automotive production lines , assisting in the assembly of upcoming electric vehicles Xpeng showcased its latest humanoid robot, Iron, at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show. Xpeng’s proprietary Turing AI chip powers it and features 60 joints, 200 degrees of freedom , and an impressive 3,000 TOPS of processing power. The electric vehicle manufacturer introduced its first humanoid robot “Iron” last November. According to Xpeng, Iron is already operational on its automotive production lines, assisting in the assembly of upcoming electric vehicles. Standing 5 feet 8 inches ( 1.73 meters ) tall and weighing 154 pounds ( 70 kilograms ), Iron is designed with human-like proportions .
