Onvo launches L60 special edition to celebrate the upcoming Chinese Lunar Year of the Horse

On January 16, the sub-brand of Nio has launched a new special edition of its mid-size EV Suv: the model’s naming “Ma Dao Cheng Gong” translates to “success arrives with the horse,” which is a festive reference to the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Horse
On January 16, Onvo officially launched the L60 “Ma Dao Cheng Gong” special edition, with deliveries beginning on the same day. Onvo has named it "Ma Dao Cheng Gong" (马到成功) edition, a Chinese phrase signifying blessings for success and smooth progress. This launch aims to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. 2026 marks the Chinese Lunar Year of the Horse, beginning on February 17

The special edition L60 is available for immediate delivery. It is time-limited but not quantity-limited. The new edition incorporates the auspicious phrase “Ma Dao Cheng Gong” (meaning instant success) into both exterior and interior details. The design aligns with Chinese families’ festive expectations for New Year travel and also anticipates the 2026 Lunar Year of the Horse, creating an overall celebratory tone. Inside, the model introduces a new two-tone Nappa leather interior combining Yue Rong Brown and Cloud Beige. The design features contrasting front and rear color blocking, paired with a Yue Rong Brown leather steering wheel.
Based on the rear-wheel-drive configuration, the special edition adds several popular options as standard. These include a Dawn Gold exterior finish, 20-inch Bright Silver wheels, a foldable rear right-side table, and exclusive “Ma Dao Cheng Gong” embroidery on the headrests, door-sill trims, and the in-car infotainment theme. Onvo values the added configuration at 23,700 yuan ($3,400), with a limited-time package price reduced to 12,000 yuan ($1,720). Buyers also receive a complimentary accessory set worth 1,598 yuan ($230), including branded cushions, double-layer floor mats, and themed valve caps. From now through January 31, 2026, customers who lock in orders can save up to 41,000 yuan ($5,900) across the Onvo L60 lineup.

The special edition L60, including the battery pack, starts at 218,900 yuan ($31,420), which is 12,000 yuan or 5.80% higher than the standard version's 206,900 yuan. Under the BaaS (Battery as a Service) plan, its starting price is 161,900 yuan ($23,240) with a monthly battery rental fee of 599 yuan. The standard L60's BaaS starting price is 149,900 yuan.
