Leapmotor today released teaser images of its new small Suv A10

The Stellantis-backed Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker today released first teaser images of its new A10 model, with the small Sport utility set to debut in one week at Guangzhou auto show 2025

The company's senior vice president Cao Li shared two images on Weibo today, offering the first glimpse of the A10 and revealing a LiDAR sensor mounted on its roof. The A10, the first model in its A series, will debut at the upcoming Guangzhou auto show, Cao said, reiterating plans Leapmotor mentioned earlier this month.

Established in 2003, the 2025 Guangzhou auto show will run from November 21-30 at the Canton Fair Complex, with November 21 designated as media day.

The A10 is expected to compete in the compact electric SUV segment against models like BYD Yuan Up. The BYD Yuan Up measures 4,310 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm. It ranks among China's most affordable electric SUVs, currently starting at 74,800 yuan (about $10,540).

Leapmotor's current lineup in China includes the T03, B10, B01, C01, C10, C11, and C16. The T03, B01, and B10 are available only as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), while the other models additionally offer extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants. Leapmotor founder, chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming mentioned during an October media briefing that the company would launch two A-series products in 2026.
