Lynk & Co unveiled new 03+ TCR: China’s first self-developed TCR race car

Geely‘s Lynk & Co has officially revealed images of its new 03+ TCR ahead of tomorrow’s official launch, which represents China’s first independently developed TCR-specification production vehicle 

The entire process of production of the car, from engineering design and tuning to testing, was led by the Chinese team. As for the Touring Car Racing (TCR), Lynk & Co’s vehicle has 132 podium finishes and 7 championships over 9 years. 

The Flame Red production model features classic racing elements, including a prominent front lip, functional hood vents, widened wheel arches, extended side skirts, and an imposing carbon fibre rear wing. 

Power comes from a 2.0-litre twin-turbo mechanically supercharged engine producing 350 horsepower. This is paired with an Xtrac 1046 six-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters, an adjustable multi-plate limited-slip differential, and a race-tuned adjustable suspension system. The braking system features Mono six-piston monoblock callipers at the front with 380mm brake discs.
