Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Track Edition: new variant debuts for circuit-focused performance

At the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show, the Cinese EV maker officially unveiled a factory-enhanced version of its flagship high-performance electric sedan for motorsport enthusiasts

Xiaomi's electric vehicle unit, Xiaomi EV, has officially unveiled in China at the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show, the SU7 Ultra Track Edition, a factory-enhanced version of its flagship high-performance electric sedan. Offered as an optional 100,000 yuan ($ 13,880) “Track Professional Package,” the new variant builds on the SU7 Ultra’s existing capabilities with a suite of specialised hardware for circuit-focused performance. The upgrade package is expected to go on sale soon.

The Track Edition comes equipped with Bilstein EVO R adjustable coilovers, Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS semi-slick tyres, Endless race-spec brake pads, and 21-inch forged U-shaped wheels — all co-developed for sustained use in demanding track conditions. Xiaomi has validated this configuration by extensively testing domestic circuits and the Nürburgring in Germany.

Design-wise, the Track Edition introduces several visual and functional upgrades, including a distinctive 24K gold carbon fibre Xiaomi emblem. Inspired by Xiaomi’s early prototypes, a carbon fibre dual-channel hood reduces weight by 1.3 kg and features two integrated vents to improve front-end airflow.

Additional carbon fibre components extend to the roof, rear spoiler, diffuser, mirror housings, and side skirts. The fixed rear wing and aggressive new rear bumper are paired with a functional active diffuser, reinforcing the car’s track-ready intent. Silver “Ultra” decals on the sides distinguish it from the standard model, and a LiDAR sensor remains mounted on the roof. At the rear, blacked-out SU7 Ultra badging and a race-inspired diffuser emphasize the performance-centric transformation.

Inside the cabin, the Track Edition extensively mirrors its motorsport DNA using Alcantara and carbon fibre. Up to 21 interior trim pieces are finished in carbon fibre, including the steering wheel (with a yellow centring stripe), seatbacks, centre console, door panels, and illuminated door sills. A 7.1-inch instrument cluster and 16.1-inch central touchscreen are the primary interfaces, supported by a 25-speaker immersive audio system and dual 50W wireless phone chargers.

Both the standard and Track Edition SU7 Ultra models utilize a tri-motor AWD powertrain: dual rear-mounted V8s motors producing 578 hp each and a front-mounted V6s motor rated at 392 hp, delivering a combined 1,548 hp. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h takes just 1.98 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h. Power is supplied by a 93.7 kWh CATL Qilin II battery optimised for high discharge (5.2C) and operating at 897V. The standard range is CLTC-rated at 630 km.
