The new model will be offered in three variants: a hardtop coupe, a soft-top convertible, and a track-focused edition. In terms of dimensions, the hardtop version measures 4,780 mm in length, 1,990 mm in width, and 1,330 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,780 mm. Its nearly two-meter width delivers an imposing, wide-body stance that punches above its class.
A carbon-fiber roof comes as standard across the lineup, while a carbon-fiber front hood and an electrically adjustable rear spoiler are available as optional lightweight packages. The curb weight of the Denza Z lies between 2,220 and 2,290 kg, depending on the modification.

Power comes from a tri-motor setup rated at 500 kW + 340 kW + 340 kW, delivering a combined system output of 1,180 kW (approximately 1,604 Cv). That figure surpasses the 1,034 hp of the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and the 1,020 hp of the Tesla Model S Plaid. The standard version achieves a top speed of 300 km/h, while the track edition raises that figure to 350 km/h.
On the range and charging front, the Denza Z is built on an 800-volt high-voltage architecture and equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery. At ambient temperatures, it can charge from 10% to 70% in just five minutes.

Beyond its powertrain figures that rival top-tier supercars, the Denza Z also integrates a host of core technologies developed entirely in-house by BYD. These include the e³ intelligent vehicle control platform, which enables independent control and steering of the rear-axle dual motors—resulting in a turning radius of just 4.62 meters. Other highlights include the Yunian-M intelligent magnetorheological suspension system, steer-by-wire technology, and a fully foldable steering wheel.

The launch of the Denza Z marks the completion of Denza’s full product portfolio across MPV, SUV, sedan, and supercar segments. In terms of market positioning, the Denza Z will target the high-end pure-electric sports car niche around the 500k RMB (~$ 73740) level, forming a high-performance lineup alongside the Z9GT.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is held in Goodwood House, West Sussex. There is also a historic 3.8-km Goodwood Circuit located near the mentioned estate. This racing circuit broke ground in 1947. The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from July 9 to July 12.
