Onvo announced the milestone of its 100,000th mass-produced vehicle

On October 15, Nio sub-brand announced that its 100,000th mass-produced vehicle (the L90) in under 13 months had officially rolled off the production line and that it would complete delivery to its 100,000th customer in China later this week—ranking among the top two fastest EV newcomers to reach the milestone

On October 15 Onvo witnessed the rollout of its 100,000th mass-produced vehicle in under 13 months, marking a milestone for the sub-brand of Nio. Onvo announced that the 100,000th Onvo vehicle is expected to be delivered this weekend, ranking among the top two fastest pure-electric newcomers to reach the milestone. This would bring Onvo's deliveries this month to about 9,721 units, considering the brand had accumulated 90,279 deliveries through the end of September. Onvo delivered 15,246 vehicles last month, accounting for 43.87 percent of Nio’s total monthly deliveries of 34,749 units. Onvo's first model, the L60 electric SUV, delivered 4,249 units in September, while its second model, the L90 SUV, delivered 10,997 units during the same period.

Nio officially launched the Onvo brand on May 15, 2024, to enter the mass market after years of exploring the premium segment with its main Nio brand. The five-seat L60 SUV, Onvo's inaugural model, was officially launched on September 19, 2024, positioning as a competitor to Tesla's Model Y, followed by the launch of its second flagship SUV, the L90, on July 31, 2025. The delivery timeline shows rapid momentum: Onvo surpassed 10,000 cumulative deliveries in November 2024, 30,000 by February 2025, 50,000 by June, and now exceeds 100,000 in October—taking less than 13 months.

On the product side, the L60 has been the volume driver. The mid-size pure-electric SUV has exceeded 70,000 units in cumulative sales, consistently ranking among the top three in its segment. On September 19 this year, marking the L60's one-year anniversary, Onvo launched the updated L60 with unchanged pricing, set for delivery later this month. The updated L60 retains its 60-kWh standard-range battery pack, with a base price remaining at 206,900 yuan ($29,030). Under the BaaS (Battery as a Service) model, its starting price stays at 149,900 yuan, with battery rental fees beginning at 599 yuan per month. The updated L60 features multiple experience enhancements in efficiency, range, smart cockpit, and comfort.

On July 31, Onvo launched the L90 large SUV, offering six-seat and seven-seat configurations. The L90 comes standard with an 85-kWh long-range battery pack, with a starting price of 265,800 yuan including the battery pack -- considered competitive. Under the BaaS plan, the Onvo L90 starts at 179,800 yuan with a monthly battery rental fee of 899 yuan. The three-row Onvo L90 achieved 21,626 deliveries within two months, setting a new delivery-speed record for large pure-electric SUVs while leading sales in its category.

In charging and energy infrastructure, Onvo is integrated into the Nio Power network, which currently comprises 8,288 charging and swapping stations, including 3,523 power swap stations, 27,276 self-built chargers, and 1,002 highway swap stations that cover the “9 vertical, 11 horizontal, 16 major metropolitan corridors” and linking 550 cities nationwide.

Onvo is derived from “On Voyage,” and the literal translation of its Chinese name Ledao is "Path to Happiness", representing the brand vision of creating "happiness on every path we travel with family," Nio said. Onvo is aimed at the mainstream family market and is committed to delivering the best brand and product experience for family users, the EV maker said.
